My name is Colleen, the director of the Metro Women's Center, and the picture to your right is my assistant Tupee, crisis pregnancy center, MWC assistant we and many other volunteers are here to help you. You may be wondering, who are these people and why do they care? Well, there was a time in my life when I felt very much alone and thought there was only one way out of my crisis pregnancy. Perhaps by reading my story you'll understand why we care about you.

Our Mission

To actively promote and maintain the sanctity of human life through educating women and the community at large about pregnancy alternatives so that informed decisions concerning the outcome of pregnancy may be made. We desire to do this by respecting the lives of both the mother and the child equally. We believe that the answer to a problem or unplanned pregnancy is not to abort the child, but to seek alternatives which allow both parties to live.

Our Vision

By the grace of God we desire to encourage believers to act positively on their convictions and to step forward to assist individuals with problem or unplanned pregnancies. We desire to see individuals brought to a knowledge that life within the womb is God's creative work. We also desire to share the love of Christ with individuals we come in contact with.

Our Statement of Purpose

The purpose of Metro Women's Center is to help educate the community about alternatives to abortion. MWC recognizes the value of all human life from conception onward. While we recognize that individuals have physical needs, we believe that a human's greatest need is for salvation through Jesus Christ.
